WA Patriot was proud to support the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation at the 1st Annual Pull For A Soldier trap shoot event on September 15, 2016. Our team of talented sportsmen enjoyed a day of friendly competition at the Gig Harbor Sportsman’s Club while helping to raise funds and awareness for Soldiers and their families while they recover from war and readjust to life back home.
The WA Patriot team believes in supporting our community through Parks Appreciation Day and this year we were proud to volunteer at the KLM Veterans Memorial Park in Gig Harbor again. Our team worked tirelessly alongside other community volunteers to beautify the park, which required a lot of weeding, planting bulbs, and spreading beauty bark. We appreciate all that came together to support this worthy community cause.
WA Patriot was a proud exhibitor at this year’s Alliance Northwest Conference at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center. Alliance NW is the largest business-to-government event hosted in the region. It was a valuable opportunity for our team to strengthen established relationships, explore new teaming opportunities with small and diverse businesses, and hear from expert speakers regarding the marketplace’s latest news and trends along with upcoming government contracting opportunities.
WA Patriot was honored to sponsor Mile 8 in this year’s Race For A Soldier in Gig Harbor on September 27. We would like to congratulate all of our team members that participated in both the 5k and the half marathon. We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteer team for all of their help at the Mile 8 station.

WA Patriot would like to thank Zerah Florance, Project Manager, and Sarah von Keitz, Project Engineer, for their participation in this year’s Career and Pathway Expo (CAPE) at Harbor Ridge Middle School in Gig Harbor. The intent of CAPE is to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math careers to female middle schoolers. Zerah and Sarah teamed up with PSF Mechanical to lead three workshops demonstrating the theory behind design-build in the construction industry. We are proud of their interest in serving our community by taking part in this expo. Thank you, ladies!
The Construction Trades class at the Pierce County Skills Center teaches students a variety of skills that will set them on their way to a future career. Jacob Riecke, a first period apprentice, was sponsored into the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program by WA Patriot Superintendent, Rory Godinez, and is featured in this video. The WA Patriot team is proud to have supported Rallypoint/6 on a recent service project where our team, along with countless others, renovated the home of a returning warrior. The WA Patriot team is proud to support wear blue: run to remember, a local running community that honors the service of our military. The team recently assisted with sign development, supply procurement and installation to help mark wear blue’s weekly 3 mile training route.
WA Patriot offered our services to the WA State Veterans Home in Port Orchard today by placing a new sidewalk, making it easier for the residents to make their way across the grounds.
